In short:

BenTile has no accounts and no game server. Your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, and offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads, which is handled by the app store and RevenueCat.

1. About this policy

This policy explains how the mobile puzzle game BenTile (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information on Android and iOS. By using the app you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Information that stays on your device

The app stores your game progress, unlocked content and settings on your device only. We do not operate a server that receives this information, and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it.

If you allow notifications, they are created on your device. We do not receive or store any notification data.

3. What we do not do

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads using Google AdMob. To deliver, measure and secure ads, Google receives information from your device, which can include your device’s advertising ID, IP address, the name of the app, device and operating-system details, and how you interact with ads. Google may use this information to show personalized ads if you allow it, and for measurement and fraud prevention. Google may also derive your approximate location from your IP address.

5. Purchases (Remove Ads)

The app offers an optional one-time purchase that removes ads. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see your card or payment details.

To confirm and restore your purchase, the app uses RevenueCat, which processes purchase information on our behalf. This can include your device type and operating system, your purchase receipt or token from the store, the last time the app was used, and an identifier used to restore your purchase. RevenueCat stores this data on servers in the United States. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy for details.

6. International transfers

Google and RevenueCat operate internationally, so information related to ads and purchases may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.

7. Security

Data sent by the advertising and purchase services is protected in transit using encryption. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention and deletion

9. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help get it removed.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We hold very little personal information ourselves, because most data stays on your device or is handled by Google and RevenueCat. To make a request, or to ask which of these providers holds data about you, contact us below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected in this policy and, where required, in the app.
